2.HABIKI:Sawing the teeth of a comb
Constant height is kept, a left elbow is fixed to the knee, and the skin'Yubikawa' is fixed into the forefinger of the left hand.

Teeth are repeatedly sawed by HABIKINOKO, from right side to left side at the 'SUJITSUKE' line.

A skilled craftsman saws it at equal intervals by an accurate rhythm by the use of the sense of a left forefinger.




the first step in sawing the comb

Because this sawing is sawed to the plane of KUSHIGI at the angle of about 20 degrees, the back side is sawed only to the half at this stage.
